It's when I see scenes like this that I get bad at Warner Bros for not keep them in the film.  I don't think anyone would have been opposed to staying an extra minute to see this amazing scene, or the scene where Dudley and Harry have their moment.  To non-book readers, The Dursley's are very one dimensional characters.  The 7th book allowed them to become actual humans, and they proved to Harry (and to us) that they actually cared for him.  This scene alone shows us that Petunia Dursley did care for Harry's mother a lot, and hopefully we get to see a bit more of their past in 'The Prince's Tale!'

What deleted scenes are you hoping to find in 'The Deathly Hallows Part One' DVD?

Im definitely sad they didn't put this in the movie. I totally empathize with petunia in the seventh book because I understand her pain, I'm still f-ing pissed I didn't get my acceptance to Hogwarts. This doesnt excuse the way she has treated Harry ove the years but I defintiely think this shows just a bit of the softer side, which is nice. I personally thrice on the smaller scenes which show emotional depth, many of my favorite scenes were not included or changed to things way less sentimental, so I do wish more of these private moments were included because to me they are extremely important to the story/character development
