6 Sexy Scifi Ships

6. Serenity- Firefly

Led by Captain Mal Reynolds, who is often compared to Han Solo, the ship has been through more than we'll ever know. I miss Firefly a lot, and hope that one day we get to see what's left of the crew take off on Serenity once again.

5. The Star Destroyer- Star Wars

How are these not one of the coolest ships in Star Wars??  Not only do they have an awesome shape, but they're extremely powerful.  The Empire himself saved an entire fleet of Star Destroyers for the rebel alliance during Return of the Jedi.

4. The USS Enterprise- Star Trek

I'm not the biggest fan of Star Trek, but even I know that the USS Enterprise is frakking awesome.  Captained by the one and only, James T. Kirk, the Enterprise has dedicated its life to traveling throughout the galaxy and help understand and protect it. The ship is awesome looking, and even though I don't think it could win in a fight against the likes of a Star Destroyer, it still looks awesome (sexy even), and it helps that they've got one of the best ship crews in the galaxy.

3. The Tardis- Doctor Who

A lot of people wouldn't consider this a ship, but I think it totally counts.  It allows the Doctor and his companion (and maybe his companions husband) to travel through time to protect the world from monsters and other forms of evil.  The Tardis is simply cool looking because one would not expect a police box to be able to time travel.

2. The Galactica- Battlestar Galactica

The Galactica was one of the greatest ships to ever grace the small screen, and went out with a bang when the series ended two years ago.   Led by Commander Adama, the Galactica protected its people for years as they evaded the cylons and searched for Earth.  She held together through the worst of times, and was even able to perform a FTL jump whilst attached to the Cylon station in the series finale.  It was frakking awesome. She was a great ship, and one that I miss seeing on my TV every week.

1. Millennium Falcon- Star Wars

Han Solo is the coolest smuggler in the galaxy, so it seemed logical that he would have the best looking ship in the fleet.  It made the Kessel run in 12 parsecs, and can outrun imperial ships.. Need I continue?  The Falcon may look like a hunk of junk, according to Luke, but it looks absolutely stunning to me.  Han won it in a game of Sabacc, which makes complete sense to me.  And it seems like the perfect ship to use for smuggling.  How many other ships of secret compartments that their occupants can use to avoid the imperials?  Yup, thought so.  And, let's be honest ladies, its piloted by the best looking, scruffy-looking, nerd herder in the galaxy.

I love how you included the TARDIS and duh all of the other ones were really cool too! for some reason when I think of space ships it always makes me think of that movie Galaxy Quest, which I think is a totally hilarious movie especially if you like sci fi 'cause thats the only way you'll get a lot of the jokes, anyway in that movie when Sigourney Weaver makes some hilarious comment about the ridiculaous death traps that are on the ship, like if anyone really built a spaceship of course they wouldn't include all of the dumb dangerous things their ship had on it in, also how her only job was to repeat exactly what the captain said, because the computer would only recognize her voice.
