Geeky Weekly Roundup #5

Posted by Christina Cooper on April 14, 2011 at 5:18 PM

Our annual Thursday column filled with everything a geek finds awesome.

This week is no different.

This week has been pretty geeky.  First , Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Part 1 comes out on DVD/Blu-ray tomorrow!  I cannot wait for the DVD and plan on buying the special Blu-ray edition because its going to be packed with loads of behind the scenes features!  Here's a little snippet of one I found on youtube last night that shows how the trio reacted to their last day of shooting.  It also features a extremely cute Emma and Rupert hug, and their both crying.. Watch at your own risk.. I may or may not have teared up a bit when I watched this last night...

LOST

I've been missing LOST like crazy, and I'm guessing I'm not the only one.. But, don't worry, I've got something that will make you forget all about the end of the greatest show on TV!  Have you wanted to press the button every 108 minutes just like Locke did, and Desmond did for 3 years?  If you said yes, then we've got your back.  I found a website that allows its users to enter the numbers every 108 minutes.  Check it out.  And make sure you enter them correctly.. We wouldn't want to crash a plane or anything... enterthehatch.com

Buffy turns 34!

Well, actually it's the flawless actress who plays her, Sarah Michelle Gellar.  I wish her the happiest of birthdays, and only wish that she would pick up a stake one more time and make a Buffy  movie with Joss Whedon. How amazing would that be?  We could bring Angel back, and of course, Spike!  Don't get your hopes up, but I still think that maybe one day, we'll get our wish.  In honor of Gellar's birthday, I know that I will be watching Once More, With Feeling.  How will you be celebrating??
