The highly anticipated Star Wars online game, 'The Old Republic' has been in talks for years, and today Bioware has released a new trailer for the game.  The game has already had two trailer out, but this is the first one that has been released with in game graphics, and is made simply for true 'Star Wars' fans.  The trailer is something that I could imagine being a part of the original trilogy, and definitely makes me a little nostalgic when I watched it.

This game has been pushed back for the past few years, but there's been speculation that game is going to be released this September when the 'Star Wars' movies hit BluRay.  If you can't wait until then to check out the game, you can go to their site and sign up.  The game has already over 1 million members, and last week they made joining Guilds available.  I've already joined!  And if any of you are interested in maybe starting a Guild, just drop me a comment or an email and we could set up a Guild together.

If you decide to play the game, would you rather be a Sith, Jedi, or a smuggler??  And remember, The Force will be with you, always.

This looks awesome! I want to wield a lightsaber or shoot lightning at people, but most of all i totally want a wookie side kick!
i'm wondering how its going to work though cuz in WOW you can hit someone with a sword and it does some damage but if you're fighting something the same level as you then you can't have a one hit kill, but I feel like lightsabers should almost always be a one hit kill or at least remove a limb or something, so i'm curious as to how game play is actually going to work, i hope it comes out when its supposed to, even though i probably wont try to play until i get back to the US
