The Doctor's new companion is cast

As sad as it will be to say goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Pond, it seems that the time has come for the Doctor to find a new companion. Executive producer Steven Moffat has just announced that Jenna-Louise Coleman (Captain America, Emmerdale) will be Matt Smith's new companion. He won't tell us anything about her, where the Doctor finds her, but I'd be willing to bet that this companion is going to have a massive crush on the Doctor.
Moffat also said that the Amy and Rory will be departing during the fifth episode of the seventh season. I'm hoping that their departure is not as said as those in the past (Ten wiping Donna's memory, Ten leaving Rose with alternative version of himself), but I will be very sad to see the Amy and Rory depart.
What do you think of the Doctor's new companion??

I'm a bit gutted he chose her to be fair, I'm not a fan of emmerdale but have seen her in episodes before and I don't really think she is a great actor but still if steven chose her she must have fit.
